XLSReadWriteII4 copysheet lose advanced protection

Post by A.Guillien »

Hello,

With Excel 2003, I create a file where a sheet is protected this way :
* Everything locked with a password
* But, a single column is allowed to be modified

Then, I load this file and with CopySheet I duplicate the protected sheet several times, then write the file. In the result file, I lost most of the protection information : the password is lost, as well as the column allowed to be modified (the sheets are fully protected, can't modify anything without unlocking it).

Also, the library doesn't allow to manually edit these informations : I couldn't find where to set the password protection nor where I could define the ranges allowed for modification in a protected sheet.

For now, I had to use OLE automation to get these things right.

Thanks for your help,
