Writing more than 675 columns into new Excel 2007 file

Post by kooths »

We encounter a very serious bug when trying to write more than 675 cols (with approx. 72 rows each, just strings and floats) to a newly created Excel 2007 file (created by XLSREADWRITEII Version 4.00.15). Until iCol = 675 (column "YZ") everything is fine, but the next col (iCol = 676) is written in colum "BAA", so there is a giant gap in the data.
