CopySheet and images

Post by CarlMon »

Greetings,

We have a serious problem when copying sheets with images using TXLSReadWriteII2.CopySheet. This causes file corruption and missing images...

Excel 2003 and 2007 both recover the file and this breaks our Excel automation routine. The Excel 2003 recovered files are generally 'okay', but Excel 2007 shows a missing image box where the image should be.

This is for XlsReadWrite3 (it says 3.01.05 in Changes.txt) on Delphi 5. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong or if you need samples.

Regards,
Carl

Hello

No, sorry, there is no fix for this yet.

Hi Lars,

This is still a major issue for us. Will the fix make it into XLSReadWrite 3.0 (for Delphi 5 support)? We are currently using OLE automation, but it is slow and error prone.

Kind regards,
Carl
